Privacy Policy
We are a small family-run museum and gift shop. We collect only what we need to sell you a ticket or ship you an order — and we never sell your information to anyone.
What We Collect
When you buy a ticket, book a tour, or place a store order, we collect:
- Your name and email address, so we can send your confirmation and tickets.
- Your shipping address, if your order includes merchandise we need to mail.
- Your phone number, only if you provide it for a tour booking or group visit.
- The items or tickets you purchased and the amount paid.
We also collect basic anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, general region, referring site) to understand which parts of the museum people are interested in.
What We Never See
We never see or store your full card number. All payments are handled directly by PayPal or Stripe. Your card details go to them, not to us. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and a transaction reference.
How We Use It
- To send your ticket, order confirmation, or livestream viewing link.
- To package and ship merchandise orders.
- To contact you if there is a problem with your order or a change to your visit date.
- To keep sales records required for Tennessee tax reporting.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever. We share it only with the services required to complete your purchase: our payment processors (PayPal, Stripe), our email delivery, and the postal carrier for shipped orders.
Marketing Email
We do not add you to a mailing list just because you bought something. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in only, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies to keep your shopping cart working between pages and to count visits anonymously. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart will stop remembering items if you do.
How Long We Keep It
Order and ticket records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Anonymous visit statistics are kept in aggregate only.
Your Choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@tigermanmuseum.org or call (901) 720-0959. We may need to keep a minimal record of a completed sale for tax purposes even after a deletion request.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Tickets for children are purchased by a parent or guardian.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the effective date below. Material changes will be noted on this page.
