Rose married Jud Phillips, nephew of Sam Phillips, the founder of Sun Records—giving her direct access to the Phillips family and the heart of the rock revolution. She produced the Grammy-winning Behind the Scenes of the Class of ’55 album and co-authored three acclaimed Elvis books, including Elvis Up Close and The King and Dr. Nick.
